Cab swap ?????
Hey,I have searched but I couldn't find the exact answer.
What modifications will have to be done to put a 75 F250 4x2 reg. cab and bed on a 79 F250 reg. cab 4x4?My buddy is going to do the swap so any help would be great.

A lot of pain in the **** work.Its not worth the headache in the end. I have done it and i will never do it again. The frames are different widths the 2wd is 37.5 and the 4x4 is 34 so all the bolt holes are off by 1.75'' and drilling new holes is not an option on a few of the hidden cab mounts.

I've been wondering this same thing myself, as this is my plan for getting my truck pre-smog. I know there are plenty of folks out there who have done it, and most don't seem to act like it's a huge deal.
I don't know the details about it, but I'd also like to find out exactly what mods need to be done to make it work.
