Hey everyone.I have a 79 F250 Supercab 4x4 and I am in need of a front midship fuel tank.I can't seem to find one and I was wondering if the 2x4 reg cab tank will fit without major mods.If so,what needs to be done?
I recently bought a new rear tank so I don't want to buy the 38 Gal for the rear....

I have a mid plastic tank out of a 1979 F-350 4X4 REGULAR CAB in my back yard with the mounting if it will work for you. Send me a private message and we'll discuss it. Maybe to far to drive?
15 different size fuel tanks
7 different Build number notations
2 types of tank material
9 different models
7 different years
7 different filler tibes
16 different fuel caps
4 different fuel delivery systems
What was the Ford design team smoking those days ?
With and without evap emission, before and after serial numbers...blame it on CA emissions. My 11/88 book shows one p/n for a 78/79 S/C mid tank with evap.(see above post). It makes no mention of a non evap mid tank for 1979.
