I Have A 1987 F150 V6 Its Stammering/loosing All Power When I Try To Excelerate Fast It Idles Good And Stays Running I Have Replaced The Map Sensor The Tps Sensor The Coil The Plugs The Wires distributer and rotor The Ignition Modual And Both Relays On The Fender And Nothing Helps It Started When I Went Out To Go To Work And It Wouldnt Start So I Replaced The Fuel Pump Relay And It Started And After That The Stammering Started I Also Checked The Egr Valve And It Seemed Ok HELP !!!
That would be where Id start. If you have enough pressure, I would test the IAC valve on the side of the throttle body. While the truck is running and warm, unplug the IAC. If it still runs, usually that means the IAC is bad. If the truck wants to die then the IAC is fine. Thats what I have heard and thats what I did to diagnose the problem with the IAC on mine. The fuel pressure regulators on these trucks crap out pretty often too. Pull the line of the regulator. Sometimes when the regulators are bad, fuel sprays out at you when you pull the line. If not its probably a ok. Try these few things and see what happens. Pull the codes if you can too.

I would look to see if you had fuel pressure.
Do you have two tanks? If you do try it on both tanks.
Also when turn the key on but don't start it, and listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump kick on.
