Climate Control swap?
My dad has an 03 F150 and i like the Climate Control he has, shows outside temp etc... could i buy one like his and replace mine? or is there alot more electronics to it? His is all auto matic where as I have to switch the settings...

If you are trying to put this in a 2001 truck you are fine. But the older 97 down set ups are different. So aside from making unit fit you dash you have sensors to add/make a harnesses to make ETC. Yes it could be done but DO you have time to figure everything out? Is it worth it?
There are extra sensors ETC . If you go to a wreckers and take a afternoon to look at wiring you may find its a simple harness switch. Borrow you dads ride and try to trace wires. Good luck
