new 08 mirrors installed (PICS!!!)
well i finally got em working and all wired up....its was definaltley a pain in the ***...but definalty worth it...truthfully if i didnt get the mirrors for a good price there is no way in hell i would pay 1100 for the powerfold option, but since i got a killer deal and i will most likely make well over half back on my previous mirrors, i couldnt pass it up!!!

I ACTUALLY LIKE THE BLACK MIRRORS BETTER THAN THE WHITE SO IM NOT GOING TO GET THE WHITE CAP ON THE TOP LIKE ON THE KR TRUCKS BUT DEFINATLEY GETTING THE CLEAR LENSES WHEN THEY COME OUT
YES I KNOW I HAVE AN EXTRA HOLE...THE SPACE BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT IS VERY TIGHT AND I WANTTED THE SWITCHES CLOSEST TO THE DRIVER SIDE BUT THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE WAY AND IT WAS ALREADY TO LATE
AHHHH ZIP TIES, MANS SECOND BEST FRIEND!!! I HAD TO ZIP TIE THE HELL OUT OF IT SO THE WIRES WOULD FIT WHEN EVERYTHING WAS CLOSED

The right switch is stricley a "option" switch ... up is telescoping and down is folding....the left side is the "function switch"....i pull the switch torwards me for fold in/telescope back in....and push away for fold back out/telescope out....

what mirrors do you have on your truck now???
the reason i ask is i had the tow mirrors, heated, turn and power and they were white and also had the recon clear turn signals...they are already at 400.00 on ebay and dfuser is selling the mirrors for i thing 429.00 (no power fold. but heated turn and power)...i also say tow mirrors that were heated power and turn but they were stock as far as aftermarket stuff on them and they were plain black and i think they sold for 396.00 so you may be able to make a pretty even swap if you really dont want the power fold option

good job man. they look good. i need to get the other mirrors. the older ones. i really dont care for the 08 ones on the style i have. i need ot get the other ones. the smaller ones wont work for towing.

the view is amazing....i remounted my switched last night.... simply took a piece of black laminate from my shop and fit it to a piece of 3/8 mdf and fit it the best i could...now eveything is alot cleaner looking...the little red switch is for my back up lights...the same lights bear hunter did on his truck, except i mounted them to the bottom of my hitch reciever...what do you guys think?

thanks,,....you wouldnt believe how many people in other SD truck take 2nd looks at them...its actually pretty amusing, considering a have limo tint and i can stare right back at them and they cant see me at all
