It looks like that amp wants a load of at least 4 ohms. So if you are only going to run one sub you will need to get the dual 2 ohm voice coils and run them in series to give you a 4 ohm load.
Rockford Fosgates subs are fairly decent, as are MTX, Polk, and Infinity. My personal favorite lately has been Image Dynamics, but they are a bit harder to find as they are a small company.
Check out SuperCrewSound. They are a site sponsor and sell custom boxes as well as Image Dynamics subs. I had an IDQ10D2V2 installed in a JL Audio Stealthbox in my 99 F250 and loved it. I will be putting it in my 07 F350 when I get around to installing the audio stuff.
I bought 2 idq10's 4 ohm with the supercrewsound's box that you recommended. Now my next question is how do I wire these up? Series or parallel? I’m a complete noob to this so please be patient.
I would run the voice coils in parallel so each sub is seen as a 2ohm load, this should be explained in the instructions you get with the speakers. Then depending on the box I would either run each one off a seperate channel or run the two subs in series bridged across the amp. If the box has two seperate chambers, one for each sub I would run each on a seperate channel. If the air is open to flow between the subs I would run them in series.

This is the basics. Hook the two positives together on one subs and the two negatives and run those to one side of the the two channel amp and then repeat for the other. This drawing I found online and is basically what it should look like.

how you wire them depends on your amp. maybe im blind, but did you post up what amp you will be using?
amp info: Here are the specs for the PC2150: Power Output:4 ohms 150W x 2 Power Output:2 ohms 300W x 2 Power Output:4 ohms Bridged Mono 600W x 1
THD: 0.02 %
Signal/Noise Ratio: 115 dB
Frequency Response: 4.5 Hz - 100 kHz
Sensitivity: 0.15 V - 12 V
Damping: > 500
Crossover Slope: 24 dB/Octave
Crossover Frequency: 90 Hz
Crossover Type: 2 Way
Internal Fan: Yes
If I understand the diagram correctly i would only be using 1/2 the power.
2 x 150 @ 4ohms vs. bridgeing it down to
1 x 600 @ 4ohms
I found a slightly diffrent diagram (bridged vs. 2 channel) on another site but i need help posting it.
you would be using full power. you stated you have two 4ohm dual voice coils correct? wiring each speaker's coils in parallel would create a 2ohm load per speaker. so you have two 2ohm loads at the amp. one for each channel. where channel 1 = 300watts @ 2ohm and channel 2 = 300watts @ 2ohm. this would give you the ability to hear it in stereo.
your other option is to run the voice coils in series and the spearkers in parallel. that would give you a mono/bridged sound using 600watts @ 4ohm (which is essentially 300watts to each speaker.) here's how to wire it this way (Option 2):
there will be less work load on the amp using it in stereo. 4ohms is greater resistance vs. 2ohms. it's also technically supposed to be louder on paper, but let your ears be the judge.
As I mentioned before, if the box does not have two seperate chambers, (one for each sub) you are better off running the subs bridged in parallel like option 2 in rigzz post #27.
