Help!! 300 to 351w
Hello, I am in the middle of doing the swap both are 86 f-150 4x4. I pulled the 300 and removed the 300 engine perches. Now I am trying to install the perches from the 351w. They dont seem to line up at all anywhere on the truck. Is there something that I am, overlooking. I believe that the longer 351w perch goes on the drivers side. Please help.
I no longer have the donor truck, but thought that I got everything I needed.

the 351w brackets either go where the 300-6 mounts did or in a set of holes just back from there. I wanna say my 5.8 brackets sit just behind the engine bay crossmember and bolt to the frame and crossmember.

Thanks for the reply/help. Its been about 4 months since I pulled the perches from the donor truck. I was trying to mount them on the crossmember but they dont line up anywhere. I will try behind the crossmember and to the frame when I get off work.
