Let me state right now that probably me more than anyone on the site... EDITS their posts to add things instead of posting again.
If I did what you mentioned my post count would be 30-40% higher.
and then add the posts that have been purged .....add another 2000.
There are cases when someone posts an alternate topic..these posts have to be quoted and replied to on their own.
