before you decide on chopping the top, there are lots of other things to consider. getting the windshield and back glass cut. you have to use flat door glass so you have to rework the doors. cutting weatherstrip to fit. headliners, seats so your head doesnt hit the roof. i cut mine and had a heck of a time with the different problems, and questions just ask... but i also cut 6 inches out.

Chopping the Top
I must say the Covell DVD is really good. Depending on how much you want to use it you can rent it from http://smartflix.com/store/author/21/Ron-Covell. It is 9.99. Worked well for me there are some other terrific DVD's by Covell on the site.
