Help just put in new battery when i turn lights on the battery meter pegs out to negative. when i turn the left turn signal the meter bounce with the flash of the blinker but it is only on the left signal. Also the temp gauage is not moving any suggestions? Please help my son will be turning 16 and i am trying to get ready for him

terminal errors
Consider checking your polarity: You may have the cables on the wrong terminals. Do this before turning on the ignition; if you have a model with ANY kind of computers they may fry the moment you turn that switch to "on".
