I was looking through LMC Truck's catalog and noticed there were 2 options for front bumpers: stadard chrome and premium chrome, even with the same style. I have an XLT and wondered if the stadard chrome would match the rear bumper since the standard is cheaper.
I wouldn't need a new bumper if that stratus wouldnt have popped out of nowhere Oh well a little bit of gorilla glue later and its looking better. Give me an excuse to get that new billet grill also! haha
I doubt you are going to see any difference in the chrome shine.......both will shine and look good and look like the rear.
LMC is telling you that their "premium" bumper has a better chrome and nickel coating process than the standard. What that means to you is longevity....no flaking of the finish....longer warranty against that sort of thing. Probly one of those "you get what you pay for" things.
If it was me and I was keeping the truck......I'd bite the bullet and pay for the premium......if I was going to sell it anytime soon......standard would get the call.
Being the cheapskate I am (plus i want to order more stuff with this also) I will probably just get the standard one. If it does start to flake or whatever it can't be that hard to just get a can of spray chrome and redo it, something to keep me busy. I dunno how long it will be around but even if a new truck comes into my life i might just keep this one to mess around with/rebuild. I want something just to replace the bent bumper and make it look better
