Less than 4 weeks!!!
My dealership called yesterday and my '07 FX4 is here...in UNDER 4 weeks from order! I can't believe it. My '04 took almost 12 weeks, so I wasn't expecting this until the middle of July at the earliest. I can't wait to get rid of my '04 (tons of problems). I hope the '07 is a good truck for me. Anything will be better than the '04 (knock on wood).

Now for the funny story...
I drove 2 1/2 hrs to the dealership last night after work. When I get there, the seats are the wrong color (grey leather instead of black). Turns out, THIS ISN'T EVEN MY TRUCK! Mine is due in mid-July, it's not even being realesed from the factory until 6/23! The sales woman screwed up! The manager bought me a full tank of gas and apologized about a hundred times. I could have blown a top, but it wasn't her fault (the sales woman was not there...at a wake). So, it looks like I wait another 3-4 weeks. I thought 4 weeks for an order was too good to be true!

Even funnier thing about that...this was her last week. Not sure if she's quitting or being "let-go", but based off this, I have my suspicions!

The story continues...
Since the original sales person is now gone, they handed the deal off to another guy. He called me Friday, apparently that WAS my truck and the woman gave him the wrong interior code to order. He gave me 3 options. 1, order a new truck. 2, he did a search and there were similar trucks in the area but none exactly like what I ordered, so if I was willing to settle for something else, they could work something out. And 3, they could get a truck in with black leather and switch the seats out and the door panels. Sound like trouble from the start. So, they're ordering me a new truck. We're looking at another 4-6 weeks (July 4th holiday is in the middle of that).
