Chirping Noise

I have a 2003 F150. While traveling Monday, a belt burst in my rear passenger tire. I had both rear tires replaced. Monday night I began hearing a chirping sound when driving slowly. The noise only occurs when I begin accelerating, once I reach 25 -30 mph the noise ceases and is audible again when the truck slows down. It sounds as if the noise is coming from the rear of the truck. Any ideas? Could the place that replaced the tires have done something to cause this?

Thanks,
James

Welcome to the forum.
The first place I would check would be the u-joints. Then, possibly the brakes (e-brake too).

I had the same kind of chirping noise on my 2003 but it was in the front. Turned out to be the brakes, had FORD OEM rotors and pads put on and the chirping stopped.

try slowly applying the e-brake and see if that makes the noise go away. very easy to try. then look at the u-joints etc. also check to make sure that the heat/dirt shields were not bent. also check the lug nuts.
