2001 Lightning Diablo Chip Reprogram
Danny & Ken:
I received my chip which was sent back to you to soften the shifting. It works perfect! The shifts are still firm under acceleration and almost stock soft when not under a load. Any of you other guys out there looking for a chip AND tech support - Danny, Ken & Diablo are the real deal.
Thanks again, guys.....now if somebody would give me some ideas on how to get the weight of this beast down to 3,600 lbs., I wouldn't need any more bolt-ons.

Mike: It is really nice to hear a few success stories. Most folks don't realize that it sometimes takes a couple of tries to get it just right. I really appreciate you allowing us to correct the first try at the right program for your truck.
Now about your weight problem, the truck bed weighs about 350 pounds, it can go, the passenger seat is about 60 pounds, it can go. Need I say more?????

Nice try! My wife's somewhat attached to the passenger seat & I kinda like the way the bed adds that certain "finishing touch" to the looks of the truck. I was looking for some invisible fat like the carpet padding and rear seats in a Mustang, which, by the way, still leaves 2 seats, in case you have a date, uh, I mean wife. Looks like I'm back to adding more power to compensate for the pork....although....maybe there's some "optional" fly wheel bolts, yeah thats the ticket!!
