Help on 2 Brake problems
1.) It is pulling pretty hard to the left. I have jacked up the front end and tested to be sure they both work, and adjusted the shoes so they both rotate maybe a couple of turns probably less, the Right side is adjusted a little tighter, but not much improvement. On the drive test both rear wheels locked up @ 10 or 15 mph the right rear of the truck starts to come around and left about 6 feet of skid arking a little to the left, the left skid is less than a foot shorter. The front wheels will not lock on several attempts. On almost any stop I have to counter steer to the right to keep the truck tracking straight. I have not looked at the brakes in years as I only drive it 3 or 4K a year.
2.) Also only when the engine is running the brake pedal does not return all the way back and I have to pull it up with my toe to turn off the Brake lights, this also makes my trailer brakes stay on, not good! With the engine off the pedal snaps right back.
Irregular brake line pressure !
Sounds like a bad Proportioning valve.
They don't last forever.
Brake pedal return problems
Sticking caliper pistons or wheel cylinders and weak return springs.

My warning light in the dash has not worked in years as the plastic in the back of the panel is not sound. So if there is continunity at the contacts on the valve do that mean the valve is off center?
No, it hasn't sat but only accumulates 3 or 4K per year.
