Shuddering

I need some advice or at least get pointed in the right direction on my "problem". I've got an '05 F-150 King Ranch Super Crew with the 5.4 L engine. It's got just over 100,000 km. on it. Just lately, I've been getting a 'shuddering' with light acceleration and especially when turning [left or right] at the same time. If I take off very gradually, there appears to be no issue. The tranny fluid level is up and not burnt. I was going to get all of the fluids in the tranny, transfer case, etc. changed out. Have not been towing anything other than a small boat a couple of times [the truck has the towing package]. Any thoughts - advice. Thanks in advance.

The common LS shudder is easily fixed by changing the fluid in the diff, and installing some friction modifier. Modifier can be purchased from your dealer. Use the proper fluid for the diff, and with the right amount of fluid the shudder will go away.

Thanks - do you have any specific brands to recommend? Or, is this something that's readily available? Also, what do you mean by the term "LS"?

Friction modifier is an conditioner that takes the chatter out of the clutches in the "limited slip" differential.
It can be purchased from your local Ford dealer.
