Ford New Evolution vs Predator vs . . .
Has anyone information comparing the Evolution with other tuners particulary the Predator or Superchip? Or experience with the new Evolution.
I have read a couple of posts on the Evolution but the questions and answers were narrowly specific.
I like the design of the Evolution which eliminates installation of gages.

DP-Tuner can now load their custom tunes onto the new Evo. Might want to check it out if you are set on that. It's some of the best tuning you'll find for these trucks. www.dp-tuner.com

Curtis is correct, but what we do is sell Edge's awesome New Edge Evolution custom tuned to your truck. We are now Edge dealers. You can also get it with the Edge tuning as well. It is, I have to say, more refined then what it use to be with the Old Evo Flash tool. You could always try that for a while and if you need or want more you can always get Jody or Bill to convert it to a custom unit.

Runnning out of patience with Edge, so I though I would post this info. The cable for the new system is faulty. I'm on my third at this point having had one not read the pyro probe, one seemingly fry at the OBDII connector (kind of scary considering the conncectivity to he PCM), and the current one which now goes blank every 3-4 minutes requiring me to wiggle the display to regain power. Beyond these issues the unit perfroms fine. The displays work, the programs are fine, no worries.
Anybody else having a similar experience?

I had the same problem with my EvoII. I am on my 3rd cable now and on my 2nd Pyro cable and probe. I really like the unit and Edge has overnighted parts etc.
I am still glad that I bought it. I am thinking about doing the dp-tuner program deal. The last cable has given me no problem for the past month.
Dude, I feel your pain. Edge's great customer service was really good so I did not get too irritated about it.

Seems like there are a few choices plus I don't really understand the program selection. For example the "16 "switch on the fly" programs". Do they all come as a package or do you pick from the list .
Would be nice, really nice if I had all at my finger tips.
I really need to call and discuss my wants/needs regarding the truck.
