I have an 04 scab with a 4.6l in it. it has about 50,000 KM and will be three years old in october. Recently, I have been noticing a vibration in the front end when i apply the brake driving at high speeds. This has only been happening for the last 3 road trips i have been taking.
I don't think the front rotors are warped because the vibration does not happen at city speeds. It only happens when i'm driving above 80 or 90 kph and slowing down to about 50 kph. After i slow to 50 or less the vibration stops.
I have a couple months left under warranty and i will take it in to get it checked. Does anyone have an idea what I should be prepared for?
Also Check that your wheels are balanced. If they are off slightly, you will feel a vibration when braking
