-Motorcraft- $205.79
- Four Seasons- 257.79
- AC Delco- 318.79
At NAPA- 213.00 (Unknown Mfgr).
At AutoZone- TorqFlo- 185.00
I'd say 193.00 is a pretty good deal.

R134A needs to be charged by weight to do the job properly. That's why the charge weight is listed on the underhood decal.
However if you are running 20-25PSI suction side with the compressor on in 80 degree temperature the system is 'close enough'.
A/C is not hard it just REQUIRES the right tools for which there are no substitutes. And they are not very expensive relatively speaking. You need manifold gauge, vacuum pump, scale, disconnects and a flush kit with good shopping you can get all this for about $400 buying Used/Ebay considering that A/C service here is $129 for a one shot deal the tools are pretty cheap considering. Oh and you will need a license but there are online testing companies so add $25 for that. If you need to work on a fully charged system you will need a recovery unit which will set you back about $800.
What is sold as DIY stuff usually just does more harm than good
