If you can shift it, go drive around.

Pick rough roads, drive slow and shift a lot.
The air will work it's way back to the master cylinder.

I find I can do more for bleeding air this way in 20 minutes than I can in four hours with the bleed screw.

You may have to pull the clutch pedal up with you toe the first couple times.
If you have to stop, knock it out of gear.
Start the engine with the truck in first, it will move as soon as you start cranking the engine.

Also take a bit of fluid with you, when it starts working better, refill the master cylinder.

Okay this can depend on what type of system you have. If you have a removable slave cylinder the easiest ways is to tip it so the rod points straight down then push the rod back in and let it expand again. Do this about three times and you should be okay. If it's an internal slave this is where the fun begins. I have had some that would bleed easily and a few that made me question being a transmission tech. I had one where I had to lift the front of the truck with a rack till the front of the truck was 6 feet in the air. Some people will laugh but that was what it took. And for the ones who will ask yes we had a Phoenix unit and it couldn't achieve a pedal. My best suggestion is to pray and open the bleeder then have a helper press the pedal down. Close the bleeder then have your helper release the pedal. DO NOT pump the pedal on an internal slave clutch. Repeat the procedure till you get only fluid and no air bubbles.
Good Luck

If you need more help contact me direct through my email and I'll give you my number and walk you through it over the phone. Let the slave extend on it's own after you push it in all the way. Once you do it you'll smack yourself for not thinking of it sooner.

Everytime I have had to replace one on an older Ford I just slowly worked the pedal and they have always bleed out fine. Don't pump it fast. It will get foamy and will never get right.
