It's hard to see just how low it is from this angle, but speed bumps will NOT be my friend!
I will actually be able to take the stock radiator support and lower it in front of the crossmember. I can then leave it stock height, and it will serve as the front anchor for the fenders. This may actually work.

I cut the floor out and channeled it the width of the frame (6"). I also did a few things to drop the suspension. I had actually flipped the front axle over the springs, but it was too low, so it is back underneath like Henry intended.

How much ground clearance do you suppose you will have. Looks about the same height as mine and all I got is 5" of clearance at the lowest point.
My cab is not channeled this was achieved using a lowering kit. Since my truck is mounted on a Chev Chasis there was a ton of lowering options available for me.
Sure would like to see some more pics from the side and rear as well.
Obviously everything is just kinda leaning against the truck for mock up right now. As soon as I get the panels fastened down I will get some proper pics posted. I think I will have about 4-6 inches clearance.

that's looking pretty groovy. I keep thinking that I want to lower my 51, but nothing so drastic, just about 2 inches all the way around. My wife complains about having to climb so far up into the truck. (maybe I should lift it 5-6 inches and she won't ride with me....nah)
Sure hope she doesn't read this forum else your bed might be the one behind your cab, ha ha

Fenders came from ebay. I am the third owner of the fenders, and the first one to put them on a truck! LOL I got fenders, with extensions and brand new running boards for $450! Yeah, it's OK to hate me.
