Is turbo surge when you are going up a hill towing in third and it starts acting like you are pumping the throttle when you aren't? It has done this twice when towing up hills at higher RPM's.

Didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Thanks,

Frank

yes its a woosh woosh sound, usually under load of some kind. A WW will cure most for around $60-$90 depending on where you get one, or an ATS housing for around $400, I did the WW, but when funds are available I will get the ATS ported housing and reinstall when original wheel.

The wicked wheel hides the surge. An ATS cures it.

No it pushs less air than the stock wheel. So it doesnt "cure" it it just makes if move less air so it wont surge and sometimes it can still surge.
