Chips and dynos

I have a 97 PSD CC dually and a 98 4.6 expedition. I am looking for some extra power in both, especially in the expy. My question is, the chips listed in the online store here claim a certain amount of hp and torque gains. I am a spotter on a local stock car team here and we a sponsered by a company that does chassis dyno runs. If I were to purchase a chip from you guys and the numbers didn't match up to your claims is there a refund process or am I just out? I am sort of a skeptic when it comes to number claims by companys. We've been burned a couple of times on the race cars. But if your chips work, I would gladly tell the whole world. Also what exhaust mods on the diesel do I have to do? We haul around 11,000 pound trailer. Thanks for the input.

We offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Diablo's dyno number's are pretty accurate. Case in point, PDQ's Diablo 100 HP package is rate, naturally at 100 HP. Hotrod magazine tested it at 97 HP. Here's the article:

Keep in mind that the horse power numbers for the PSD is for 2001-2002. The 97 PDS's gains are lower, though they will still be very significant.

For towing a 11,000 pound trailer, you'll need a 4" exhaust system for the 70 HP chip. With the lower HP chip you'll be okay without it. We have both a stainless and alumunized system. I also recommend an EGT guage so you can monitor temps ---- try www.genosgarage.com for these.
