I found what might be the last factory highboy, just high hopes but see post below, I cannot find the VIN on the frame, I looked though. The build sheet was under the seat, is there any way to tell on the build sheet if it is a highboy? Besides the VIN? The VIN on this truck is Y22325, but it has all of the stuff of a highboy. So what to look for on the sheet to see if it is? Thanks

The 1973/79 Ford Truck Parts Catalog states the last "High Boy" was made before serial number Y20,001. What is the full VIN?
Ford never called these trucks High Boys.
Measure the width of the rear frame, from frame rail to frame rail, post what the measurement is.

Frame is 34 at the tail end, VIN is F26HEY22325, Body FA4, Trans A, Axl B4J, it has old style steering, cab gas tank, divorced transfer case, outboard frame cab mounts. But it has a 351M, 4 speed, it "looks" all original, that's not to say it didn't have a cab swap in the past though. bought it from the 2nd owner. It has me confused! Build date is 3/77. It is close to the cutoff, could Ford be using left over materials? Truck sits way up too. Anything alse to look for?
I was going to use this thread as info for me to research, but it's turning into the same thread. Can a moderator merge the two? I looked at the lift blocks, they are the factory 4" with bump stops built in to them.
