check your connections to your tone ring on the top of the differential housing. then check your speedo control box under the dash and all the wiring in between
the tranny probbably wont shift out of first unless u let off the gas and even then it shifts very hard. That fuse causes the spedo to go, odometer, courtesy lights. The spedo causes the tranny to shift weird and hard. My fuse has gone twice. If you have a trailer hook up, tape it up or cover it, i believe thats how i popped my fuse.
post back and let us know if thats what the problem was
it's probably the vss on the rear axle. check the wires like Bruce said, could be a bad connection. next you can pull the sensor out and clean the end contact real good. if that doesn't work the sensor is probably bad and needs to be replaced. if you have an automatic don't drive it til you get it fixed the shifting of the automatics is controlled by the information from that sensor.
