I assume I can use the input jack on top of the dash for my MP3 Player?
I have a Creative Zen player and all it has is a usb jack, headphone jack and power jack.
So do I need a newer player or can I use the usb jack somehow to plug in and use?
They sell a wire with two male connections. One into the mp3 connection on the truck and another for the head phones. Both connection are the same size so it doesnt matter what side you pulg. look For the plug. Its the same size as the head phone plug.
So plug one into the truck and the other side goes into the headphone plug on your mp3 player.

i was told you couldnt so i bought a new player that had a usb built in and put that in
No USB is involved. It’s just a headphone jack (3.5 mm). Get a cord with two male ends, plug one end into the headphone jack on the player and other into the plug on the dash. Switch the stereo to line in and away you go. I’d post a picture for ya, but it’s not letting me at the moment
