headlight bulb change

im somewhat mechaincally inclined and can do just about any moderate fix on a car/motorcycle. for the freakin life of god i cannot see how i can easily replace the headlight bulbs on my 02 explorer.

how the hell do these things come out???!!!!??

this was posted a few weeks ago, they said it is covered in the owners manual.

i think the post also said a couple of clips had to be pushed in.

There are 2 half-round tabs behind each headlight assembly that need to be pulled up, then it can be slid forward to get at the bulbs. The tabs can be tough to pull up, so you may want to grease the slides before you put 'er back together.
