Air Bag Codes

Air Bag Codes
I have a 2004 Escape Limited. The air bag light is flashing a code 37. Any one got a clue? I suspect its the clockspring but the cruise buttons still work.

Could be an open circuit, shorted circuit, grounded circuit.
Problem can be wires, side Air Bag, and / or Air Bag computer.
I would locate the Side Air Bag and check the integrity of the electrical connector.
Do not probe any Air Bag system wires with a test light or voltmeter for you may accidently deploy an Air Bag.
