Hey guys, I was hit on Tuesday night by a Peterbuilt (in my 01 f250), I'm rather proud of how she held up to the Pete, we're still waiting anxiously as to whether she's totalled or not. I have pictures, some people have said a deffinite no, and some have said most likely. I really like this truck, If I could change anything I'd make it a dually, but I'm in love with the 7.3 engine, I dont want a new truck, I HATE the new engines! I just put a new module on this one and it runs even better than before, and it's just about to 100k on mileage. Anyway, I figured I'd post a couple pictures and see what yall thought.
the damage to the outside is pretty self explanatory, the floor board inside bows up, the dash is bent (the glove box won't shut), and the passenger seat is pretty much twisted. There's also blue paint down the side of the bed. I was told they wouldn't total it unless the frame was bent by a few people, someone else told me they may because of the damage to the dash. Anyway, they towed it to the body shop at the ford house last night, I'm hoping they'll get to it today and let us know.
Well if the floor board inside bows up, the dash is bent (the glove box won't shut),
sounds to me like the frame is bent! But that's just a guise.
Sorry to here about your pore truck,,,,that sucks.
Oh ,,,by the way,,,no pics.
