Chromium Paint

The Chromium paint that DuPont has that changes color, how expensive is it and how labor intensive is it the apply. This is the blue paint that Ford factory apply on like the 2003 or 4 Mustang gt "Intimidator" ? package. I heard it was like a 5 G option that they did for a Very limited number of stangs. This paint if you have not seen it will grap you right by the eyeball slap you, and say "Hey Look AT Me" one word WOW!
Thanks for the info AL

Any type of chameleon paint is expensive, generally in the neighborhood of around $300 for a pint of the chameleon and it'll take around 4 pints of that, plus whatever base color you use and your clear, primers and everything else. One big downfall of it is if you decide to use it, don't ever plan on doing a repair job in the case of an accident or scratch, it's pretty tough to match it up exactly, even when using a step down panel from the start.

I sprayed a ton of chameleon and marbleized paint jobs years back when it first hit the market and man did I get burned out on it.

The Chromium you're talking about on the Mustangs is a proprietary product, can't buy the exact same thing off the shelf but you can get close.
