Question gear raitos

im building a 66 f100 ,engine swaped to a 302(bored .60 over) rv2 cam, port and polished ,gear drive ,edelbrock performer intake ,matching 600cfm carb, hooker headers ,elec water pump, high vol fuel pump.the transmission is a three speed /w overdrive manual trans.what im trying to do is make a mild street rod (this is my first project thats why so much info was given thought someone might have more ideas for me)but every day driver (dont belive in trailers)my raito question is what i have is 9" 3.70-1 will this work or should i change it and what should i change it to.

The 3.70 ratio is a pretty good one for take off/pulling things. With the size of the motor and wanting to be a street rod it will work. Having the OD is a major plus for freeway milage as well.
