nope it wont. the newer ones bolt in and the older ones use the clips on the side that snap in. i also think that the new ones are slightly bigger too. you can always make it fit....lol.

Front Speakers

I see you got Infinity 6x8 in the front location. Is this a true 6x8 or a 5x7? The Infinity Reference speakers are 5x7 and the Infinity Kappa are 6x8. I'd like to know before ordering and hate to take the door covers off just to look :-)

Thanks

anytime you install a true double din radio in one of these, you have to do some minor trimming to get them to fit. it's like a 1/8" on both the top and bottom. the 05+ trucks have a different opening that does not need to be cut.

4wdbeast, they are the reference series. model 6812cf. they are both a 6x8, and 5x7. however, any standard 5x7 will be a direct fit. the spec sheet from infinity shows that this model is "6x8/5x7 2 way." there is no TRUE 6x8 and a different 5x7. these are on there way out because i am running a little more power to them that they are spec'd out for. so, some better ones are on there way.

Racer, fyi I did have to trim on my '05 to fit the DD. it fits but deffinately not a "swap" for the radio. maybe the "newer" SD's are better....

You can fit 6 1/2" with a little triming of the sheetmetal, I have 7" in the front & 6 1/2" in the 2nd & 3rd row.

The Dynaudio components use a 7" woofer. Thanks for the compliments on the amp rack, I really like the JL Audio speakers, amps & stealthbox. But the Dyn's blow away everything when it comes to component speakers.

Gotta jump in. Are you saying that an '06 dash cover will fit an '00 and the radio opening will be slightly bigger? I have an Eclipse 6610 and would like a little more space around the unit...
