long crank time?
ok so today i come home from work and go to jump in the 6.0 and go for a blast and fill up with fuel, and i noticed it took probably twice as long to crank and start? wtf? i think this might have happened once before but i cant remember? any way runs fine took it up the highway about 30 miles and no problems, oil is only 500 miles old, mobil 1 5-40, hope im not having a hpop problem, i dont seem to have any problems when truck is hot and i started it about 6 times tonight and it seemed to start normal, last tim i drove it was yesterday? im stumped! maybe just a hicup.......

Every once in a while, mine will take longer than normal to start up. Typically it starts within 0.5 to 2 seconds. Sometimes (say once every 100 starts) it takes upwards of 6 seconds. I'm not concerned as I would think a HPOP leak would be more repeatable and eventually lead to a no start.
I wouldn't sweat it unless it becomes more frequent and repeatable.

That's good. I know that this is my first diesel and I've only owned it since Feb....so everytime I hear something different or it does something different I become paranoid.
After I obsess for a few minutes....I take a deep breath and get on with driving the fun toy.
