I am not sure Alan was clear but I think 5" is the way to go. Will you be getting the low end just satisfactory DP tunes, or going for the gusto? You know you want to round it out with a 120 race or whatever. I tested mine on the track and my 80 econ was every bit as fast as the 120 race but that tells me theres room for mods/pms. So think over what you will be spending your money on and go with what you know.
Would you guys go with a muffler or straight pipe?
I have the MBRP "muffler" inline, but if you look into one end, you're looking straight through to the other side. There's no restriction there at all, just some bumps in the side -- I think it just adds some tone to the system, not really any kind of "muffle". Again, it's your call...
I assume you've heard Kwik's (5" MKO I believe w/muffler) & Guzzle's (4" MBRP w/muffler) exhaust audio clips, right??
ill be getting the base dp tuner, just to satisfy my truck with the bigger wheels. probably run the 80 eco pretty much 100% of the time. also, where can i hear these audio clips? id like to hear the difference with the 4 and 5. thanx
looks cool too .....this is the 5" with a 6" tip Amiller posted.i live where they use a LOT of road salt..i painted mine black with stove paint and it still looks good under there..

Dont bother getting the muffler. I had one and removed it. It sounds much better now. Also add a 6" tip to the end of that sewer pipe. You should see the looks I get is this thing. I am going to the local muffer shop in a few weeks. I am going to see if he can fab me up dual 5".
I "ONLY" have a 4" Magnaflow, but I can speak for a straight pipe- you'll love it! I purposely drive next to jersy barriers and retaining walls with all four windows down
No there isn't negative side effects, exept for a frost bitten face for driving with the windows down in the dead of winter. The best, however is to see the look on people face when you pass them on the left with their window down. I swear I have seen people about wreck when I pass. You either get the finger or a thumbs up.
