Truspeed
I just finished getting back from doing a test drive and calibrating my speedo. I had gone from the factory 20" wheels and tires to factory 18" Lariat wheels (ebay)with LT285/65-18E Toyo AT's. My speedo was out by 5.5%. The Truspeed was a simple install and works like a charm. I am very pleased with the result an have it down to less than .1% error using mile markers. I will confirm this when I get a chance to use a friends GPS. I made the switch to smaller tires to get a little extra torque for towing. If I put my 20" back on at the end of the summer all I have to do is fick a toggle switch on the Truspeed and I wll be back to the factory setting. Here's a pic of haw the Toyo's look...

Rim size won't affect the ratio at all. The outside dia of the tire will. Your tire diam must have changed or it was off that much from the factory. I used a tru speed on my 01 when I changed to 37" tires and worked well like you said.
