Our exployer did this. After ford replaced the moter, it still did it from time to time. We took it back and there was a new service bulliten about it. They put some sort of felt under the door glass(some fix huh) and that seemed to fix it.
It could be a bad master switch. We have replaced a lot of them.
61 that fix is just for the rear windows on the Explorer. It is a rubber rope inserted into the run to put spring pressure on the glass to keep the motor from friction locking. I know its kind of hokey, but I have replaced about 500 of those motors over the years, especially the left rear. This seems to fix the problem.
