dumb question

Well here it is in a nut shell, will the reprogramming of the factory EPROM buy any chip or moduel ware it out. Two the new moduel that is out that gives you 60,80 and factory settings i was told that you could not recalibrate for tires, but can you have it done any way, what i mean can you get the new moduel and then get new tires and anve your program modified for your new tires if they are biger and or smaller. I only want to ask these questioins because i truly want this mod (chip) but would like to go from 235 tires to 285 and still have the trany perform.

thank you ,

No, you can't wear it out. An EEPROM can be "reflashed" thousands of times, actually a lot more (data sheets from most EEPROM vendors show cycle times of one million or more) and a have a data retention period of 100 years.

As to tire recalibration, the way to do that is with a chip, not a programmer. The programmer will ONLY take stock programs at this time....
