This has been bugging me since I put my chip in, before I put my Diablo chip in I unplugged my battery like I was suppose to, was I also suppose to turn my lights on to drain out any juice left over in the truck? I ask this because after I was done installing the chip I but the battery back in and started it up and all my preset radio stations were still were still in there, I thought unplugging your battery erases all you stations, the clock was off an hour that I had the btterey out for, does my trucks computer also remember life before the chip? I know the chip is working, truck is faster, smoother and no longer stops at 99mph even though thats what the spedo says.
Your radio will keep the presets even if you took it out for weeks. The battery doesn't effect it. The clock always requires you to adjust it after taking out the battery. Taking the computer out for the time it took to clean the connector and put the chip wipes its memory.
