Flowmaster 40's
Ok so here is the deal well i got 2 dual flowmasters put on about may 11,2007 not that long ago so i was wondering does anyone know for sure if there is a break in period where they get louder after a few thousand kms or so or a couple months of driving kind of like glasspacks when they burn out or am i dreaming?!?!?!... Thanks for any help

theres nothing in these mufflers to burn out so it is supposed to be able to sound the same for the life of the muffler.

They do "break in" after a few hundred miles. Don't ask my why or how, they just do, the tone changes and they sound different. They did on my Mustang and I've heard from lots of other people that experienced the same thing.
