I plan on putting a fmx behind a 292 .The fmx converter is 1.375 and the crank is 1.575. what is the best way to take care of this problem.I understand there are magazine articles on this procedure.I know money can fix anything.I am on a low budget. can anyone help.Terry

I heard of an outfit in the deep south that makes a torque converter with the right sized hub to fit the 292 crank. I'll have to do a search of the various y-block forums to find the name of that outfit.
