300 inline woes
Hello everyone first time posting, read alot.
I have a 300 inline 1986 and im having problems starting it. It wont start at all.
I have replaced WIRES, PLUGS, CAP.
When i turn it over it will not start, then it will kick smoke out the carb, its timing is eec controled, any ideas on what to do?

even though timing is EEC controlled the base timing still has to be set properly. You also need to check the fuel pressure. Are you getting good spark or ba spark? Blue is good yellow is bad
