I currently have a Punch He2 10 in my 1994 regular cab f150. I just got back from one of our local car audio shops and the owner gave me an estimate on 2 P2 10's, building a box, and hooking the p2's up w/ my he2. he told me 460 for all of it, which is a little bit high IMO. My question is how much better are the P3's, and how much bigger. will they fit about the same as the p2's and he2? He said that we shouldnt haveta go any deeper with the new box... but i want the p3's if they're alot better. also, how big of an amp will i need to push all 3?? I was kinda wanting to stick to RF for all my stuff. any suggestions are welcome though.
Ok... so P3's wont work. Too deep for me to ride comfortably, so im gonna go with the new style p2's and i guess sell my He2... Should i get 2 p2's or 4...and should i get 2 ohm or 4 ohm, and how big of an amp should I use...
Well, the amount of subs and VC configuration is completely dependent on you. If it were me, 2 12's dual 4 ohm. Run them in parallel down to 1 ohm, put a 1000 on them, call it good.
so does 2 P2 10's 4 ohm dvc and a P550 2ch amp (all from sonicelectronix.com) sound ok? or should I go with a different brand? only reason I say P2's is because i know i can fit them without having to move up my seat anymore and ive had nothing but fosgate before and have been pleased with them... and a friend of mine just got 2 p3's w/ the p550 amp and its clear and loud. im open to any suggestions. and i have a decent budget for this project........
