axle decoding
I have what I'm pretty sure is a Dana 60, It has the little number 60 by the diff cover, off of an early 80's 3/4 ton dodge. My dad had a good idea of finding out the gearing ratio in the dodge rearend and if it closer to the ratio I want then to just swap that in my ford instead of spending alot on a gear set for my ford rearend. The problem is that the axle tag is gone and I dont think the dodge has the original cab so how can I find out the ratio?
