If any of you have the updated intake like I did, you do not need the 4 inch pipe section unless you are dying to have it. I found a perfect rubber cap that fits tight as a glove onto the port that tees into the intake to seal it up. I then cut off the "scoop" on the inside of the intake to make a nice smooth flow of air on its approach to the turbo. Just an option if you dont want to look for a 4 inch section of pipe.
Excellent mod. Also I assume you plugged the hole/connection point for the CCV vent. I only wanted to do this since it would eliminate the restriction where the tube came into the CCV/intake sleve. It looks as though it restricts flow since the intake sleeve is not round. Just trying to help and not mislead.

Thanx Suber
I did indeed plug the hole, or rather it is capped on the outside with the rubber cap and silcone sealed. I filed off the remaining plastic on the inside of the "scoop" all the way level with the floor.

As of now you sound like the girl down the street. Man I miss those days.
So far: 16' of 3/4" hose, not sure of the cost and it will be $37.80 for the correct boot plus 3" of 4" exhaust pipe when I find it. I will take pics and post them in my webshots for you. and only for you since you are "SPECIAL".
Great to hear from you again 162, missed ya' lately. Where are you postin' and maybe I will join ya'.

So, I know how to do this mod. now but I can't remember what the benefits are, besides cooler intake temps. Will this give me more power as the intake are becomes cooler? Also, is there anything out there to put on the end of the ccv by the firewall like a breather assembly for a gas motor? Or, should I run the rubber down the frame rail, becasue I don't want to cut into the exhaust pipe?
