Hydralic Trailer Brakes?
After owning my boat and trailer for over 3 years, I thought I had electric brakes. Went and bought the Prodigy brake controller to help stop the truck and trailer when the camper is on heading down the hills. After seriously looking at the electrical hook up, I realized I do not have electric brakes. I climbed under the trailer and started looking around and found no wires, just little tubes.
My question, how do hydralic brakes work on a trailer? There is no pump that I have seen anywhere. Just a resevoir on the tongue. The boat and trailer weigh about 4000lbs.

Actually, you can have hydralic brakes controlled electronically.
