I posted a few weeks back trying to get some basic questions answered about the Diablo Chip for my 2001 SD V10. I now would like to ask a specific question concerning the chip. I do have the 4:30 gears , but since my truck is lifted 11" with 39.5" Swampers, when I'm traveling uphill (on a freeway or interstate road) my truck will begin to slow down unless I puch the peddle to the floor or take it out of OD. In either case, my RPMs run way up to keep the heavy truck at a constant speed or to speed up. Will the Diablo help when going up hill in OD without having to put the peddle all the way to the floor or by taking it out of OD. Thanks.
i am going to have to let you drive my rig when i am up there in vegas so you can see the difference gears make.... i will pull the chip for you and let you try both ways..... the chip will only help your throttle response... not your power persay.
