bf250 is right about the payday loans. It's almost better to go without food for a day or two than it is to borrow from those places (eat with family or bum off a friend- that's what they're for, for a couple days). But, since you did, go to them and tell them you have no money to pay them. They have your check and they'll probably put a lock on your checking account until they get their money (however that particular system works...) and tell them they are your #1 priority when you get paid. you'll be ok. (Ever notice that there are no check cashing places, aka "Loan Sharks" in the more affluent neighborhoods?) Also, get in touch with your card companies. Let them know you have no money, you'll pay them when you can and what you can. Often times they'll give you a month or work with you in some way. Then, and this I learned from a friend, make a list of all your debts. Number the most important one first, then right on down the line (you probably don't have that many) next important and so on. Your rent should be #1, you have to live somewhere. then food, you must eat (this means groceries, not Taco Bell), then transportation- gotta get to work. What ever is left after these is what you offer the credit card company (of course your first pri is the loan shark, but they'll go away quickly). You'll pull yourself out of this in a few months, if not weeks, with a little self discipline and a lot of intensity. Your credit is probably going to get a hit, but I wouldn't worry about that at this point. Remember: take care of YOU and then everyone else.

Pay day loans = legalized loan sharking. John Gotti went to prison for the same thing that they do legally.

Don't ever do that. Pay them off ASAP by doing whatever it takes to get the money (legally).

Follow up on your job apps. Tell them that you are eager to work for them. Don't tell them that you need money. Just tell them that you want to work and are eager to work for THEM. I hire and fire people every day and I look for people that WANT to WORK.

Hope your luck changes soon.

I wish you lived in my area.My company needs warehouse help all the time. Like the others have said be sure to call the people you owe.If you don't they will think your trying to stiff them & make things harder for you. I'd never use a payday loan place. My son used one of the title loan places. He ended up paying back over $1000 on a $250 loan.
