I think one of my damn manual hubs is stuck.. Instead of ripping it apart, I'm just replacing them with Warn Premium Hubs..
The part number I was given was 38826.. Is this correct? Is there any conversion kits I need? Anyone that has done it, is it pretty easy.. I've never really messed with the hubs lol.. Based on instructions it doesnt seem TOO difficult.. Does the truck have to be lifted and wheel off or is it something you can change through the wheel opening.. I know prob a dumb question LOL..
Also anyone know any good places? So far it seems to be bout $200 flat is what I'm finding them at.. Not sure if we got any FTE Sponsors.. I don't have any distributors that carry Warn.. Kinda SOL there lol..
Installation is easy, but you do need to take the tire off. Find the instructions on converting from auto to manual hubs (in the tech folder) it will give you an idea on how the things come apart and go back together.

Will do.. I heard you need conversion kit if you have auto hubs.. Thank god I got actual manuals and the manual transfer case.. not ESOF..
Should be rather easy.. Prob best $200 bucks I'll spend.. I don't use 4WD much but I don't want them screwing up as we can already tell I think my left front is locked up.. Just hope I don't damage anything..
I would go with the standard grade Warn hubs. They have less of a tendancy to stick when the weather turns cold. I put them on my SD just for that reason. No I'm not just a cheapskate I spent 8+ years working for Warn here in OR. If you never see the cold the premiums are a prettier way to go.

That is awesome.. I live in Central Texas.. Only cold I ever see is the weird Ice Storms we get every now and then.. What would be a wise choice incase we happen to get an Ice Storm? I'm all about saving money but also about good choices.. I imagine Warn Hubs over Factory are better period.. But when you look at Standard vs Premium.. Where's the line.. What would you guys recommend..
The "Standard" Hubs still uses a chrome plated outer hub and a black center dial. Personally I think they look a lot better with any of the aftermarket truck wheels out there. I am running them with 17" Weld Cheyenne's surrounded by 37" BFG MT's. Warn also makes the Ford factory hubs but they don't seem to hold up as well as the aftermarket versions. As far as going with the premiums, Again I wouldn't for the followning reasons: More exspensive, More likely to stick in the freezing conditions. What else on your truck is going to match the Gold colored Dial?
