Another new Owner!

Just picked up a 07 Eddie Bauer 4x2 last weekend. Love it! Here are some pix.

This is my first new car ever. I have had many cars, none new. I had an 00 EB Expedition and really like that, this is a whole 'nother level.

congrats and nice truck.

having had an '00 how would you compare the two (ride/power/amenities...etc)?

i've got a 5.4 '00 EB myself.

The ride quality and comfort on any surface other than off road(i have not driven here yet) is much, much better. The independent suspension really took the previous models which felt like a loaded down truck to a more of a car ride. It doesn't sway as much on turns, smooths out uneven pavement extremely nicely. Throttle response is greatly improved. This is no Mustang, but the 6 speed tranny helps get the power to the wheels quicker. Interior is much improved. Nicer finish and leather IMO. Thats the major pluses so far. I have only had it 4 days or so.
