ok. 1999 Ford F250 PSD.. start it up, let it warm up, and go. The damn thing sounds like the power steering is going bad, but it also does it when you hit the brake pedal?

Since it happens with both ps and brakes, I'd suspect the serpintine belt.
I've got a 92 f150 that I replaced the belt on but didn't de-glaze the pulleys....the new belt cut the squealing for about a day or two then it came back.
I have actually rebuilt that ps pump and the damn thing still moaned.
